HE Higher Education Ranking has adopted the Regional Coordinator policy to strengthen communication, improve local engagement, and ensure that the ranking’s activities are supported by trusted academic partners who understand the context of their own regions. As the ranking continues to expand internationally, it becomes increasingly important to have a reliable focal point in each geographical area who can facilitate outreach, encourage participation, support institutions, and help build stronger academic connections.
The Regional Coordinator plays an important role in promoting the vision of the ranking, clarifying its developmental purpose, and helping universities in the region engage more effectively with its processes and opportunities. This model also helps the ranking respond more efficiently to regional needs while maintaining closer contact with higher education institutions.
To preserve clarity, consistency, and official representation, only one Regional Coordinator is appointed for each geographical area. This ensures unified coordination, avoids duplication, and allows each region to have clear and recognized representation within HE Higher Education Ranking.
